Greensburg Hempfield Area Library tends to get a little over excited every year around this time because it's almost party time at the Library, and their friends at 814 Lanes and Games share what made their headlining sponsorship of Library Libations important to them.

Walking into the Greensburg-Hempfield Area Library is an experience for anyone of any age. They have made it a point to ensure there is something for everyone in the family, from babies at lap-sit reading to craft groups, book clubs, and informational sessions for the grandparents.

"This is why it is important for us at 814 Lanes and Games to support GHAL. Families are at the heart of what we do - the family we’ve built here, the families of our team members, and the families that walk through our doors. We strive to make every experience memorable," says 814 marketing director Jordan Pavelka.

Whether you are planning a child’s birthday party, a night out with the girls, an employee appreciation afternoon, or just a day to spend with your loved ones, 814 has something for everyone. Their state-of-the-art bowling lanes and 55-game arcade are popular, however, the sport simulators and axe throwing lanes give guests an alternative outlet to create new memories.

Still want more? Duke it out in the laser tag arena or team up in their escape room; or, grab a cold drink and a bite to eat anywhere in the building. "No matter what you choose here, choose to do it together."

The same is true for the Library. "Togetherness" is always a large underlying theme for Library programs and events. Library Libations is no exception and is held every fall with a different theme. This year is WELCOME TO THE BIG TOP! You've guessed it; volunteers are going to transform the Library into a three-ring circus complete with sideshow attractions, novelties and oddities, a Midway of games and prizes, circus-inspired treats and sweets, bougie raffle baskets, music, dancing and more.

It really is going to be a can't miss fundraising party, so mark your calendar for Saturday, November 9 from 6 to 9pm, and grab your tickets at the Library or online at bit.ly/GBGbigtop
